1 Corinthians 3 is an often misunderstood passage and as a result, it leads people into a "doctrine" that focuses on themselves rather than it is intended...on others! As you progress in listening to this sermon, it will begin to make sense that Paul is referencing how we build on the foundation of others, not simply ourselves, claiming that how we as the royal priesthood are to care for the Temple of God! So what legacy are you leaving to the people around you, specifically to those who are part of the Household of Faith? Are you building with gold, silver, precious stones...or wood, hay, and straw? Only one lasts through the fire...
