1 Corinthians 13 is often labeled as "the love chapter", and it most certainly is a chapter geared towards identifying "the perfect" in Christ! But where chapter 13 identifies what love is, 1 Corinthians 8 identifies how love works when properly applied in conjunction with the cross of our Lord Jesus! This message is to the point, if we say we love God, and we exist for His glory (1 Corinthians 8:6)...then we must be a people who lay down our lives, interests, and even liberties for Jesus Christ and His Body! For to sin against His Body is to sin against Jesus Christ Himself!
