I'm sure you have heard the verse that says, "If anyone destroys Gods temple, God will destroy him." But what exactly does that mean according to Scripture? Jesus referenced His Body as the temple in John 2:19 and so we know there is a physical aspect to that but it begs the question, "If Believers are the true Body of Christ, how then does that Scripture in 1 Corinthians 3:17 apply"? You see, too often people focus on the physical aspects of Scripture only to neglect the spiritual truths that carry a greater weight, power, and depth to understanding the Word of God! So what does it mean then to be "the temple of the living God" in this passage? We pray you will listen to this study and gain a refined understanding of what it means to be the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27, Romans 12:4-5), and just how serious God is about His Church...
