How are we to live this life? For what purpose? For whose glory? So many know the answers to these questions but are caught in a cycle of living for themselves, making lifes decisions on what seems good to them, and pleasurable for them. As we dissect this passage in Genesis 13, you will learn just how that mentality towards the Christian life is not thinking of Christ at all! You will also delve into the truth of what it means to be an offspring of Abraham. So many have a direct lineage to Abraham through Isaac, and yet Jesus says in John 8, their father is the devil. That they are born according to flesh, but must be born according to Spirit...through Christ alone! So in short, this study is to reflect on, and exhort us all to be a people of the cross...
