The story of Jacob and Rachel has taken on quite a reputation over the years as a testimony of love and devotion that many parallel to Jesus and His Church. But what if that isn't the reality? What if this story only reveals that Jacob was a man who only had a superficial relationship with God, and was more about himself than he was about anyone?
