The dove has found a home, the waters have now abated, and God has spoken to Noah! And now, coming off of the Ark for the first time after the washing away of earths corruption, Noah receives two very distinct commands: go, be fruitful and multiply and to not eat the flesh of any animal with its blood remaining. Why these two commands? What is God trying to show? How does this affect us? In this study, we specifically focus on why the blood must be drained before one could partake of the flesh, along with the statement, "everything that moves shall be food for you". In an age when so many seem to want to look backwards, the cross urges one to look forward...
