We live in such a time in which "normal" for most Christians in America can be defined by the terms passive and stagnant...devoid of intense desire and longing to go deeper with Jesus! But this is not what is found when reading through the New Testament! Why? We believe one of the answers to that question revolves around the topic of prayer! You see, the passive Christian walks through life with his eyes shut...incapable of seeing the true beauty of Christ as revealed in seeking Him through intimate prayer. Thus the result is a weak life because ones praying is weak! In Luke 11, Jesus responds to the disciples question about teaching them to pray as John taught his disciples with a parable..."Ask, seek, and knock"! But what does that mean? Listen to find out...
