What does it look like to be a good leader in God's Kingdom? In short, Jesus, as He is the perfect example of Heavenly leadership! Heavenly leadership is servanthood, not being served, and sacrificing in the trenches with those in your charge, not just leading them from afar! It is ruling, but not always in a domineering way but rather seeking to be examples to the flock. These are traits which Jesus is teaching to Peter, and in turn, the rest of the Apostles! For even in his failure, Jesus is using it as an opportunity to teach Peter how to lead! But this is not the only topic within this message, that though extensive and long, is filled to the brim of fundamental truths we as Christians must live out! Humility, submission, temptations, holy kisses, suffering for Christ, self-defense, and even a parallel between Pilate and the "middle-road Christian", who acknowledges Jesus but will deliver Him up when things get hard! This sermon is really a must listen for those who want to go deeper in the Faith, and gain a deeper understanding of what it means to "Follow Jesus"...
