In a bit of a misleading title, we spend the bulk of our time together studying Luke 6:20-26, in which Jesus is comparing two kingdom mindsets against each other! One produces a fruit that is earthly, carnal, and selfish...thus the reason for the "woes". The other produces a fruit that is Heavenly, spiritual, and selfless...thus the reason for the "blessings", for what we sow, we will also reap! The Scripture really is true that says, "where your treasure is, there your heart will be also"! We can only serve one master...which one does your life show you serve?
