What would you do if God asked you to sacrifice the very thing you held as most dear in your life as a test of your allegiance and love for Him? Would you value Him more? Or would you be among the many today who try and justify why God wouldn't actually ask you to sacrifice the things you hold dear in your life? The answer to those questions will reveal a lot about the health of your relationship with Christ, for Jesus says that no physical relationship in this world, no matter how good it is, can stand in the way of our relationship with Him, our service to Him, and our position in Him!
