We believe the Bible is the living and inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, and is useful for doctrine, for encouragement, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. Further, the Word of God in text points us to the Word of God in Person, Jesus Christ.
We believe there is one God existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in which those who truly believe are seated with Him.
We believe man was created good and upright, but fell from that place of perfection into a condition of spiritual depravity. Therefore, man stands condemned in the light of God’s justice.
We believe the only means of our being justified and cleansed from our sin, and consequently the eternal penalty of it and its control over our soul, is through faith in the precious blood of Christ leading to repentance. And we believe that personal salvation is evidenced in the regeneration of the believing man or woman by the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Scriptures teach a life of holiness. Sanctification is a separation from that which is evil and a dedication unto God. We believe all Believers should earnestly pursue sanctification by walking in obedience to God’s Word. We further believe that the Christian is enabled to live a godly life by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Church is the expressed image of Jesus Christ to the world, therefore how the Church represents Jesus is paramount. Jesus taught His disciples that the world would know they belonged to Him by how they loved one another. As a result, we believe the Church should hold to that teaching and exemplify God's love for one another, and be unified in heart and mind as their greatest importance.
We believe that Jesus will return to this earth in order to judge all that which has defied His Lordly position, claim that which was purchased by His blood, and to rule and reign over all His possession for eternity.
